- I am a native of Gloversville, NY. I have lived in Saratoga, Troy and Malta. I am back in Gloversville at this time. I work as an Animal Care Technician, breeding mice and rats for medical and pharmaceutical research. I worked in the Mental Health field for about 16 years before working for Taconic. I have a severe hearing impairment which makes life interesting at times and frustrating at others. I love animals - especially cats, dogs and horses. I would like to get another hearing dog some day in the near future. I am a Christian and I attend a Charismatic church. I have had over 20 full length feature articles published by local newspapers. I'm looking forward to writing for this blog and getting any feedback - positive or negative - for what I write.
